After Ashton Kutcher’s woeful performance in Jobs, Universal had quite the struggle when it came to casting the perfect actor to play the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, but it looks like they’ve hit the nail on the head with Michael Fassbender.
In the first trailer for biopic Steve Jobs, viewers get a glimpse of Michael Fassbender, wearing the iconic black turtleneck and jeans that Jobs himself so famously wore.
Rather than a montage of clips from the film, most of the narrative of this trailer is provided by voiceovers from the main cast, which includes Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniack and Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffmann, former Chief of Macintosh.
The trailer is actually more of a teaser, and while we do get a glimpse of Fassbender in full Steve Jobs gear, we’re left eagerly awaiting what he might have to say.
Steve Jobs will be released in cinemas on October 9th, 2015.
